Well, not a whole snow day. But classes today after 5 PM were canceled and classes tomorrow before 11 AM are canceled. The snow hasn't stuck to the ground yet, but there's still supposed to be some ice tomorrow. I guess that's the difference between life in the north east and life in the south!
Today was my first day of classes for this semester. It went really well, and I'm excited to really get into all of my classes. After classes, I went with three of my friends to a J. Crew warehouse sale in Chapel Hill. Apparently this "temporary store" travels the country to set up these warehouse sales, where samples and seconds are sold at highly discounted prices out of large cardboard boxes. I only got one pair of pants (for $20!), but many of my friends were able to get shoes and dresses as well. I had never heard of these "warehouse sales" but apparently they are fairly common. Has anyone else ever been to one? It was fun, but also a little overwhelming!
