I hope all of you had a nice and relaxing holiday break. I had a great time at home visiting friends and family. I can't believe that I am starting my second semester of graduate school on Monday! Part of me isn't ready to give up my break yet, but the other part of me is excited to take classes more in-depth in my subject area. This semester, I will be taking classes in affordable housing, dispute resolution and planning for bicyclists and pedestrians, among others.
Yesterday, I met up with some UNC friends and went to the North Carolina Museum of Art, and then went and hung out in downtown Raleigh. I really didn't get a chance to visit downtown Raleigh last semester, so it was a great chance to walk around an explore, especially given the warm, nearly 50 degree weather!
Today I met up with my friend from Penn State who lives in the area and had lunch in Chapel Hill. It was really great to see her and just enjoy hanging out before we both have to get back to the grind on Monday.
How are all of you doing?
