Two things are happening this weekend that are very exciting.
First, my parents are coming to visit me! I can't wait to see them and show them all around the "triangle." And when they come, we are going to go to something else I've been looking forward to...
the North Carolina State Fair! The website promises a midway, livestock, pumpkin-judging contests, antique cars, and everything deep-fried - a great slice of Americana!

How was the weekend with your parents and the fair? MN has one of the best state fairs in the country and is one of the biggest. We miss the MN state fair. Nothing like that here in Berlin. Boo!

My weekend was great! and I did take a lot of pictures... I'm working right now to post some of them. I had never been to a big "state fair" before and I didn't realize how big and extravagant it would be... definitely an experience!
