Did all of you have a nice weekend? I had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. On Sunday, I joined a local pottery studio and spent the day throwing pots for the first time in a while. It was wonderful to get back into a studio. I thought that I would be very rusty because I hadn't thrown in a while, but I think that my "muscle memory" kicked in and I was able to throw a few moderate-sized pieces successfully. The studio is very nice- there is even a separate room for glazing and a back entrance. The weather was really nice so we had the door propped open and a fresh breeze coming into the studio.
Tomorrow I am giving a presentation as part of a class to the local Partnership to End Homelessness Organization, but the organization is really going to use the information from our report to petition the local government for more funding. Wish me luck!
