Pittsburgh and other Fun Things

Whew! Things have been busy here. Two weekends ago I flew to Pittsburgh to visit my lovely grandma and uncle and to see some of my Penn State friends. It was a lot of fun to reconnect with friends and family and play tourist in Pittsburgh. Above is a photo of me from the lookout on top of Mt. Washington.

Last week and this week I have been very busy with schoolwork so I enjoyed a very low-key relaxing Halloween. I was very disappointed, however, that not one trick-or-treater came to my door!

On Saturday I took a break by spending the afternoon with a friend working at a Habitat for Humanity house. After months away from studio if felt nice to use a hammer again! It made me miss the fantastic woodshop facilities that I used to have access to at Penn State. Now if only I could find someone to give me access to a Lasercutter or a  3D Printer!
